Arrived fast and was easy to set up nlike the extra cable clips that came with the unit. Keeps the power cord out of the way if you use it. Nice neat package. Thanks

I am posting a review because there is a warning that this tablet/phone holder is frequently returned. My experience is just the opposite. The stand is very well made using superior materials. It adjusts easily and holds the adjustment. It is quite stable. My iPad doesn't bounce or move away from my hand even when extended to the limit. The base can be clamped horizontally or vertically and there are fittings for routing a wire or cable. It is a little more expensive than some of the others sold here and very much worth the difference.

Nicely made by my standards, but didn’t meet my wife’s approval and had to return, since I bought it for her. Her current one has a 4th short arm extension, giving her more flexibility, I guess!

I use it to watch movies in bed. Two areas that are problematic: I wish it was more flexible-it doesn’t swivel from side to side laterally. The other problem is that the clamp that holds the phone in place is right where the volume down button is and if I clamp it tight it prevents any sound. I have an iphone 13 Pro Max.

Because this looks like something from early in the last century, and I'm not wild about the visible springs, it wasn't first on my list to try, despite the fact that it's pictured being put to the same use for which I need it, laying in bed. (I wake up when my Kindle or iPad falls on my face, which it inevitably does when I'm laying dow and lose my grasp when falling asleep.) However, I tried three other tablet stands before it, and none of them worked for me. Two were "goosenecks" (only in shape, not function) with nice clamps, but the necks weren't all that flexible (they took two hands, and a bit of force to readjust), and either didn't or barely extended far enough for reading, and would have required repositioning the clamp on my headboard, none of which I could have done while lying down, should I need to change positions. The other was a beautiful, sleek, folding arm type which was stiff, and hard to adjust, and for which the joints didn't bend enough or easily enough to get it into quite the right position, let alone allow me to reposition it if I turned in bed. Not to mention that there was the issue of it's being in the way if I needed to get out of bed for a trip to the bathroom without awakening fully in the middle of the night. So I circled back to this one; and, like the fourth bed which Goldilocks didn't have to try, it works pretty much perfectly for me, even if it does look industrial. I like that I shall also be able to use this clamped to a horizontal surface, should I want or need it to, since the stem may attach the clamp on the longest side, as well as the end with the screw handle (not the side which faces the wall when on my headboard, thereby not needing for it to be an unreasonable distance from the wall). In reality, I don't notice the springs or the screw when I fold it up to a standing position when not in use. And it works the way I need it to!Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Very poor quality. Claps broke inside after about a month so can’t return it. Also does not provide the best angles.

This product can be used in other ways. I originally bought it for my iPad so I can hook it onto my bed and then I used it for my keyboard.

Basically seems to be a mash up of digital camera and dash camera type fittings and parts along with a metal spring loaded arm. It holds my 8" tablet ok but I would be wary of putting anything bigger than a 10" in but it might be ok. time will tell how well made it is but so far so good.

the 90 degree head swivel joint , Makes a huge difference, as it allows you to have the arm in ANY position and you can swivel the head so its 'flat' in front of you = build quality is top quality = ======= I actually wanted a floor standing version of this arm , but isnt available (yet?) , so I purchased a basic cheap white floor standing tablet holder , and attached this arm onto the pole ( as they all seem to use the same pole / connection sizes ) fitted perfectly =====

Lacks the correct angles for a suitable reading position. Looks cheap too
