I use a relatively low tilt back stand for my '68 Deluxe Reverb Reissue. At larger venues it needs to be mic'd. This little stand is perfect for the Shure SM57 I use for micing it. It fits into my gig gear carry case too. It's very stable and very adjustable.

A good stand! I appreciate how lightweight it is and it's small size - perfect for micing kick drums, guitar amps, or top/bottom snare. It's not an incredibly sturdy stand, but it's not poorly built. The angle mechanism is well built with the standard rubber grips, but I'm not fond of the arm length adjustment mechanism - it's a standard round-grip screw that you have to over-tighten for heavier mics. It works well for your standard 57/58 or 421, or even some smaller LDCs, but I've noticed it droop when a RE-20 or mid-sized LDC is attached to it.Overall, happy with this $16 purchase! Very much worth the price.

Heavy, sturdy, very well built, steady while holding my mic, really recommended!

The knob that adjusts the arm is a little small, might end up replacing that in the future because it doesn't grip as right as I'd like, but I love how the legs snap into open or closed position. Easy and quick setup. I'm using this to replace a Hercules folding kick mic stand which was not suiting my needs as well and didn't fit to the shape of my mic cable. Mid weight, seems like it'll hold up for a good decade of regular use with general care.

The boom and height are actually pretty awesome but be prepared to sandbag it! I was trying to use with a Bass Drum and granted, those are big mics and I was trying to extend the arm into it, but that seems like the point of the stand. The little legs don't balance very well at all. I tried it at lengths not even fully extended and toward a leg which was still very wobbly. I started with an AKG D112 with perfect balance and no extension. I extended the AKGD112 which required counter-balancing. I used a CAD E-100 with the same effect. I tried a Shure SM58 at 75% extension which put it over the tipping point.I understand people don't love the product but it does work in small spaces and is lightweight; you just need to plan ahead a bit!

Worked for my needs. Just got it to use it as stand for my eq mic from my Dennon Receiver since the paper rocket that comes with it stock falls apart after a single use. This is more stable than the paper stock. And if you obsessed like me and run the room correction every few months then having a nice sturdy stand is a must.
