Very sturdy brackets and easy to operate. The shelf is only as sturdy as the mounting screws so, I would use better screws. The ones they provide don't look like they could support 150lbs like they're stating.

I couldn’t be any happier with these drop down hinges. They’re perfect for attaching my large cutting board to my counter so that it’s out of the way when not needed, but I just bring it up and I instantly have a cutting board or even additional counter space. When in the up position, it is sturdy & dependable, no fear of putting pressure on it while cutting or putting pots of food on it. In the down position, it stays secure & is a great slim design.

We did our due diligence when looking for folding brackets. Heavy duty is the optimum word, along with extreme strength, easy to use and great aesthetics.We wanted said brackets for over our garbage container in the kitchen, which when folded up would keep our Siamese safe and optimize usable space above said container. When we are cooking, our Siamese has the tenancy to jump up and sit on top of the container, which as a trap door, which does end well... and... she falls in. Either way, we needed to find a solution.Thus, these DIY Brackets, with a Max Load: 150 lb (12 Inch, Black) were an excellent choice for all aspects needed. As my lady just said, "They are super sturdy.The unique design is very easy for up and down usage. One hand for each bracket, with the trigger and they go down. When up, just pull the shelf up, and the bracket snaps and locks.We are extremely happy with these foldable brackets. In fact, we were at our home improvement store and they do not offer the concept.Buy these brackets, you'll be glad you did and happy too boot.

I used them to make a small table in a travel trailer. I wanted the table to fold down for travel and these brackets work well for that. I kind of wish the part that goes along the wall were longer just for my piece of mind with support, but I think the latch mechanism to hold them up and fold them down is solid.

I will only buy these shelf brackets from now own. I have ordered these 3 times. They are so sturdy...better than anything I have ever used. These brackets are sturdy when they lock in place. No worries if the lock should undo....Can't happen. I recommend using your own wall anchors though. I find the plastic wall anchors included never ever work for anything let alone for a shelf of any kind. I throw them out. IF I don't put the screws into the studs then I use plastic anchors that fan out....or the metal toggle bolts that have wings. The rest of those plastic anchors are no good in my opinion. I have been putting up shelves for over 55 years so I know what works and what does not. I learned all that from my Dad who was a carpenter!

These brackets work extremely well. I put them in my travel trailer to make a shelf for an electric fan. They are easy up and easy down, but do not collapse unintentionally. Only note: the holes pre-drilled in the brackets won't accomodate a pop-rivet gun, so you'll need to secure them another way. Excellent quality.

I was building a miter saw table and wanted to add an tension to the top for 2 x 4’s , etc. this product was perfect . Holds a fair amount of weight as well.

Quality is very nice, light in weight yet strong. Size is exactly what I ordered. It's very smooth, folds and opens very smoothly. Definately value for money.

Product is not of very good quality.The rivets are very cheap and looseI don't think it will support anything heavy .It's ok for something light I guess .Also the finish is not as good as the pictures displayed .
