I *really* like Folkmanis puppets! I was thrilled to find their small animal finger puppets at an education conference this summer. I bought all the finger puppets I could find that matched up with the “beanie baby reading strategies†to use to teach reading strategies in my PreK class. I was able to use them with kindergarten summer school and they really helped some reluctant readers get excited about reading. This little guy is our “Skippy Frogâ€, he skips over unfamiliar words and comes back to them. “Eagle Eye†is my absolute favorite though, incredibly downy-soft and adorable! (Eagle Eye can’t read yet, he looks at the pictures for clues) I wasn’t able to find all of the critters from Folkmanis so I purchased some animal finger puppets from The Puppet Company (also on amazon). The Folkmanis seemed nicer quality to me, but they’re a little more expensive. If they prove durable enough to live up to Preschool I will be a highly satisfied customer. I’m really hoping at this price point they’ll last—if they don’t I’ll update my review in the future.***8/6/20–Still in perfect condition, proving to be very durable!

My family loves Folkmanis for their realistic plush animals and puppets and this little frog is no exception. It is great quality, well made, and realistic looking. My child loves frogs but is too old for little kid-ish toys. This frog is the perfect mix of soft, cuddly plushie and cool teenage froggo room decor.

My new go to for puppets. I work with little kids and I use these puppets everyday at work. They are great quality and they are all really cute. Slide on your finger and the pocket is deep enough that it stays on. The kids really get a kick out of these little puppets. Good quality. Large selection and pretty decent prices. I now have a collection of about ten different finger puppets.

I have a LOT of the Folkmanis finger puppets. They are all extremely well-made and much-loved by my grandchildren. We have performed countless fun puppet shows, including using the puppets to play the parts of characters in fairy tales. This frog is no exception -- it will be a wonderful addition!
