This is a nice manger with real bark and moss. The manger holds 8 of the 11 piece 6†figure set. The manger nicely accents this Nativity set. I had trouble finding a quality looking manger that fit on my mother’s 7 1/4†fireplace mantle. This was a combo birthday/Christmas and I was quite pleased!!! A small piece of the bark roof had broken off in shipping, but was easily superglued back in place. I definitely recommend this manger!!!!!!

Our family has had several Fontanini Nativities for several generations. We love them. I won mine 20 years ago, and have slowly added characters, animals, trees, animal pens, rocks, grass, hay bales, etc. over the years. I wanted to buy a bigger stable than the one I have and give my original, which is in great condition, to my oldest to start their collection. I was so disappointed to find my new one arrived in two pieces, already falling apart. It is lighter than my smaller one, even though it is twice the size. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the bark edging is already broken and ready to fall off. The wood supports for the roof are barely attached to the beam that is cracked. Some of the wood looks like it tumbled through the saw mill or was exposed to heat. Is that to make it look more like the construction of the time? The finishing nails are so tiny and short, they cannot possibly hold the roof on. Zoom in to see if you can find them. I was afraid that putting it back together would cause more damage. I love Fontanini’s products and I was hoping this would be an awesome upgrade. I’m sorry it wasn’t. I wouldn’t pay $15 for this, let alone $60+. Please figure this out, Fontanini. Thank you!

Size is perfect, it's sturdy & nice design.Update: I've just noticed the front decorative soffit part was detached on both ends, made from bark type material? I glued the ends & seems to be OK.

Very pleased with the stable. Exactly what I wanted. It will be used in an apartment window with a nativity sceneconsisting of seven various sized dogs including one small dog in a manager. The dogs wear robes and are various breeds about 3-4" tall. There will also be a small barn and some sheep around the scene.Thank you.

This was just was what I wanted. The grass around the top and inside goes everywhere but it’s nice looking. Over priced in m6 opinion but I paid it.
