Had for over a month now, really like it. Easy to change the angle of it, and locks in place just fine. I probably press too hard on it at times, but it still holds up just fine. Pillow top is conformable, and hasn't "flattened" yet, and I use it 10+ hours a day.Only weird quirk, the bottom metal base has slightly bent, probably from the force of me pushing. But doesn't affect its usability.Update at 5 months:Still love it, I don't even "think" about it anymore, it's just a part of my desk setup. Wouldn't feel right without it now. Base hasn't bent any more, just a bit as I mentioned in my first review above.Update at 1.5 years:Works exactly as it did brand new, my feet still rest on it nearly all day, pressing quite hard at times. Simple upgrade I did was to add a little velcro strip between the pillow top and the base just so the pillowtop stays in one place better. Otherwise, still love it and works perfectly.Update at 2.5 years:This beast is still an amazing champ of a footrest. Mechanically this this is perfect, even with the heavy leadfoot weight I have pushed onto this thing. The metal plate I mentioned before that kinda warped, well that hasn't gotten any worse, and it's not any hinderance to me either way. Still works amazing.HOWEVER! Finally the leather-type material covering the cushion has over the last 6 months started to break apart. It now looks like an old 1980's fake leather couch that is splitting all over. But, even still, it is comfortable and I would 100% still recommend this. Amplifies your computer veg-time greatly!

I have 2 simple complaints about this footstool: the base is a bit small, and this isn't very sturdy. I didn't get it to stand on or anything, but adjusting the position of your feet will rock the unit in some positions. It's not dangerous, or anything, just not a solid feeling. The other issue is that the top pad slides around a lot. It hasn't fallen off, but there's a lot of strain on 2 velcro straps, and they don't have a true channel or anything they run through so there's some wear going on that lowers their lifespan. The unit folds up nicely, and once you get the hang of the adjustments it's easy to configure. I've put a considerable amount of force on the joints simply to test things out and they've held up. I'm very happy with the construction quality of the armatures. The pad is the only thing that holds back my rating. it needs some form of attachment feature at the top and bottom to prevent it from rotating around it's straps. Otherwise, very happy.

I needed something to prop my feet up for sitting at my desk 8 hours a day Monday through Friday. However, the padding on it slips around because it comes loose. So I have to constantly tighten it unfortunately. But I do love it and I love that I can adjust it to my settings cuz I have short legs so I have to have it higher. But it is comfortable and it does help. My tailbone feel better from sitting in a chair all day.

That's right. As far as I know this device does not have something as simple as a locking mechanism making this entire product useless. It will not support anything other than an ant. It will collapse if you try to put your feet on them, despite them HAVING A PICTURE OF SOMEONE RESTING THEIR FEET ON IT. THAT IS A LIE.This product is a scam, the prople who made this product also knows that. Shame on them and shame on Amazon for allowing them to scam people.

I use it to elevate my legs in our van. It's especially amazing on long drives. I feel like such a passenger princess and I ove it! I have back problems so it helps to be able to recline my seat and elevate my legs. I feel like I'm in a lazyboy at home. I've been using it for 4 months and I'm so happy with it. Thinking about taking it on a plane for a long haul flight.

I was excited to get this product to put under my work desk to raise my short legs up so they don't dangle. It looked good when it arrived. I didn't want the cushion, so I was able to easily take it off.I found it difficult to adjust the height since the system of pulling it up the whole way and then pushing all the way back down didn't work on one side. It kept getting stuck on every notch as it was pushed down. It was also hard to do this on the floor to get the precise position I wanted it in.I did eventually get it into the height I wanted - horizontal and at the lowest height off the ground (on the first notch, not at the absolute bottom). So I set it on the ground. Any weight at all on it with my feet meant that it compressed back to flat/absolute bottom. When I picked it up to investigate, I found that even the force of my hands could easily compress it back to flat. It looked like at the lowest height the angle screws were too variable and allowed it to change angles. If I wanted it higher then it probably would have been fine, since it seems to be less flexible when set higher. But as a foot rest under a desk where I just need a small amount of extra height (approximately 6 inches), it was no good. The width of the platform is smaller than I expected as well - so if I did want to use it, my feet would have to constantly rest very close together.

Owned this product for about 2 and half years. I liked it. It offers good adjustability and the cushion is comfortable. I work from home so this foot rest would be used daily. The top of it broke in the last few months. The plastic frame on the top piece cracked in two places so now when I use the foot rest it sags significantly. But as I mentioned I used it daily for a bit over two years so your mileage may vary.

Huge improvement for ergonomic work set up but a little narrow for having both feet up if you're someone who likes to spread their legs. If you like to cross your feet then this one is a winner.

Do I think it’s worth $73? Hell no. It’s cheaply made, and like other reviews mentioned, the locking system sucks. It keeps coming off but once it’s set it ok. I’m quite short so I use it at its full height and don’t think I’ll be adjusting it up and down so I won’t worry about having to reset each time. But if I had to adjust each time, I can see it being annoying. It’s quite flimsy and I thought it would be mostly metal. But it’s more plastic than anything. It’s ok for me. Wouldn’t buy again though
