I prefer this method over the clamp. The clamp was hard to get around my phone, and I often pushed the power or sound buttons. This option allows for better balance on the DJI I wish it just came with the device to begin with

I have a DJI Osmo 4 which I love using. Recently I purchased a new Galaxy phone with a magsafe case. I wanted to try this magnetic mount. First I found that my phone was too heavy with the case on. In order to get it to work I had to measure to find the center point, because not all magcases are centered in the middle. It took me a while to find center. After calibration of my Osmo 4 it worked. One more small problem, sometimes the mount would slide, probably my case design. If you use a phone with build in magsafe or have a smaller phone with a good case, I would give it a try.

firmly attached on my iphone. Works great on DJI.This clap is also double sided magnetic, so I don't need to take it off when I put it on my car phone holder, which is also magnetic one. Highly recommended.

Strong magnet so the phone doesn't fall off but not so strong that it's difficult to remove. I just twist the mount on the back of the phone case to be able to grab the bottom tab and pop it off. Recommended.

The tail of this mag mount will not sit directly vertical (look at pics already loaded and you can see several degrees of offset). This causes the camera to be slightly angles left or right. The adapter does not solidly lock in place and can rotate. I can live with it, but it is a defect.

Much quick to attach and use then the phone clamp that comes with the gimbal. Worth the $$

I got this to supplement my DJI Osmo mobile 6 which I purchased at the same time. The default magnetic clamp on the DJI is by itself already working well with my S23 Ultra (which has a magsafe case) or my wife's iPhone (which has the magsafe built in). But this takes the switching and set-up to a whole level of ease. I just attach to my phone and I can easily snap on the DJI gimbal. And it's sturdy, the magnet clamps on very well! Love it!

Absolutely perfect! Much more convenient than the included clamp device supplied with the dgi osmo. Also, this is not being used with an iphone. I have a samsumg s23 ultra with a mag quad lock case (which is magsafe compatible). Stoked!
