Product is moderately difficult for a first time DIY project and took a tremendous amount of time and you tube videos to complete. The product is as described. Glad I did it. Would not do it again!

This is not everything. There's no adhesive/glue. The screen will not stay on and the home screen will not work. After thinking I did something wrong, took it to a pro. It's faulty. Don't buy.

I have the 7th gen iPad which is what this digitizer is designed for. This is my second time cracking the screen and the first time I brought it to a third party repair store and spent around $200 for just a digitizer replacement that was not even OEM. After cracking it the second time I looked on Amazon and found this digitizer. For the price it is a no brainer if you are willing to put in a little extra work.For anyone that is new to electronic repair, this listing is just the digitizer or basically the touch screen part that corresponds to the LCD for your iPad, so if you have a cracked LCD screen then this will not fix your whole issue.For installation, there were really no instructions that came with the package which is why I took off one star, but there are plenty of videos online that can walk you through the simple process.Overall, compared to bringing your broken iPad to a third party store, this is a great alternative and great kit to save a ton of money if you are willing to put in a little extra work.

The screen was ok but no glue for edges ran the risk and it broke the same day unfortunately before to get the glue to go around

Issue = Not good adhesion! (caused later cable damage; see edit below)It is not hard to install and so far works without any issues. But on the side, it is obvious that it would appreciate extra tape/glue because it is slightly "out of frame".So just get glue or extra tape to be sure it will really hold well. But if you are not a perfectionist, it will do the job anyway. Just take care while removing the old glass.EDIT: After few weeks due to the low adhesivity the screen moved and damaged the cables. After that, it didn't work and I had to buy a new one. I would recommend add the extra glue or avoid this one.

Updated my review because I have to get a new screen and everything again because this ad lied it came with adhesive so I was left with a screen that wouldn’t glue back together which no shocker eventually broke so the false advertising for the pre installed adhesive is a huge problem

A nice quality replacement digitizer. My only complaint really is the provided adhesive. I did a very thorough cleaning job on all the areas the adhesive would make contact with, but it still didn’t stick great in some areas. I recommend removing the provided adhesive and using a b7000 style glue.

watch screwdriver does fall out when opening package. everything included for a smooth digitizer swap out.
