First time changing an iPad screen I decided might as well since it was already shattered. Took some time but I was able to replace the screen just from videos online. Saved hundreds of dollars not having to go to a repair store or buy a new iPad. So far so good, Home Screen button works now also. I didn’t use all the tools because I took the screen off prior to it arriving.

Screen was completely destroyed. Watched to quick videos. Easy replacement. Be sure detach the battery before attempting and you will need a heat gun.

Approx 3.5 months after replacement screen installed home button on the new unit became intermittent and then stopped working altogether.I should note this is not the first screen I’ve replaced on an iPad. Others I’ve replaced have not had the home button fail in such a short time.
