This screen was very simple to install after removing the old shattered screen and scraping off the old adhesive. While installing I found it difficult to peel off the strips covering the adhesive while the ribbons were connected but that was the only part of the installation that was difficult. The screen adhered to the iPad very well except for one small spot in the middle on the right side but that may be from some of the old adhesive that was missed or some dust. The screen protector was a nice addition to the kit. All of the necessary tools were included in the kit and worked very well. All in all this kit is well worth the small amount of money it costs.

I’m quite happy with the product thus far. I’ve never changed out an iPad screen before and today I changed out 2. The only hard part is getting the old glass off. The actual install of the new glass is quite easily accomplished. The tools were adequate, though I wish there was a guide for which tool does what. So far there are no issues with functionality and the screen seemed to be very durable during the install. I even had to pry at the top after the first install to line up the front camera correctly. Well worth the money and time. Saved me around $200.

This was the second replacement I purchased; this first one was a different brand from a different seller. Compared to the first, this one was MUCH better.The ribbon cable to connect the digitizer to the iPad board was the right size, whereas the other brand was too wide (cable, not connector), making it difficult to properly adhere the display.The preinstalled adhesive is a big timesaver and makes things much easier. It seems to be good quality and I have not had any issues with lifting.The tools are fine, nothing spectacular. I used my own but the included tools will definitely get the job done.As far as the digitizer itself, I don't have any complaints and am very happy with the quality. It is installed on an iPad used by my 5 year old and is holding up very well after a couple months of use. It registers touches accurately and operates as well as OE.

The seller is awesome. 5 stars for customer assistance and desire to provide great service.It appears all iPad replacement screens are somewhat more fragile the the original screens. I highly recommend a glass protector. Replacing the screen is not too difficult but it is easy to damage the screws. I bought Scott double sided tape which appears to work great. Adhesive does not come with the kit but it does not appear to with any other companies replacement kits either.The first replacement screen I put in I believe had a tiny crack that grew. The second replacement screen I believe cracked because I did not “seat†the screen in perfectly and a small jolt caused it to crack. Third screen seems great.

Installation was easy the only hard part was getting the old adhesive out, i use nail remover with a Q tip and razor. After i install everything the HOME button that came with the screen didn't work, luckily the home button on the factory screen was working fine, so i replace the home button with the factory one and it work like new with the fingerprint and everything. Screen looks good but feel fragile so will try to do my best not to drop it!! (Update) screen cracked on top without dropping it and adhesive not strong enough !! I do not recommend this product!! 👎ðŸ½

Ok. So this was my very first time doing this. I wish there was a tutorial on the page to go along with it but I watched a couple youtube vids for help. I used a heat gun but you can also use a hair dryer to lossen and remove the old screen/glue. I wish the kit would’ve came with a razor blade but I had one of those handy also thankfully. The new screen is great. Installed easily after removal of the old screen. iPad is up and running with no issue. I would buy his again and/or recommend to a friend.

The screen arrived in great condition, helpful tools to install along with it. Problem was a slight dent in ipad casing caused new screen to break while installing. Guess this was the spot the original damage occurred. Be sure to check all around the perimeter of case before installing completely.

It works perfectly! It's like a brand new ipad! I recommend this to anyone. I just suggest being gentle with the tech. It took me a couple hours, so a little longer than other reviewers because my screen was COMPLETELY shattered, so i did spend a little extra time removing the fiber glass..but if you warm ot up with a blow drter for a min or so, it somes right off using the tools. I had everything i needed. The only suggestion I'd make for someone with a shattered screen is glasses to cover eyes and gloves for the small pieces of fiber glass.
