This kit had everything I needed to replace my IPad battery. The linked video in the instruction booklet was not very good, had to look up one on YouTube.

Excellent product, everything you need to bring your iPad back to life. Battery provides better battery life than original. Easy to follow instructions and easy to install. As with any product repair, read the instructions, watch the videos, do the repairs. I do recommend watching a few videos as each video is different and select the steps that make sense. For example, there is a YouTube video that shows you taking apart the entire iPad and removing every single component. DO NOT FOLLOW this video as it makes no sense to do this to replace your battery. Replacing the battery is very easy and this product makes that much easier. I would recommend this product.

The online directions don’t tell you to heat up your iPad before disassembling! Needed up cracking the screen and took to one of those “I fix it†shops. Other than that battery works like new.

My wife’s iPad would not hold a charge so purchased this battery replacement kit from Repair Parts Plus. Watched a couple of videos and completed the installation without issue. This was my first time to replace a battery in an Apple product and was nervous about doing it. It was much easier than I expected and will not hesitate to do this repair again. Used a heat gun on lowest setting to warm up the face edge as per recommendations in videos and took my time to work lcd screen loose from adhesive. The kit comes with all the tools and parts you need except for heat gun or hair dryer. Time will tell on long long the replacement battery will last. Take your time and you can do this.

The direction are relay non-existent and the battery failed to take a charge. I would recommend it to anyone. I been a computer engineer to over 40 years and fix everything from disk drive to tape machines, pc boards and yes other tablets. The parts bags where open as was the battery it looked second hand. Would use this product every again. Should have sent it right back.

was fairly easy to install. Watch the video. Be carful when removing the old battery that you do not put the removal tool to far inside as it can damage the old battery and short it as the tool is metal. The iPad is working great again.
