How to install?
1.Test the fitment first, proofreading the position of the cowl body armor so that it aligns with the outer cowl body(please do not remove the double-sided adhesive tape in this step)
2.Clean the installation spot (First wipe with a wet wipe and then dry wipe)
3.Take off the double-sided adhesive tape and Install the cowl body cover according to the proofreading position in step 1.

I picked these up a while back then had a change of heart. I love my beautiful hydro blue Jeep and just wasn't sure I wanted to add a black plastic cover over the top of the cowl pieces. But I finally figured "what the heck" and decided if I didn't like them I could pull them off.So one warm day I went outside, wiped down the cowls with an alcohol swab and stuck these covers on. As I stood back and looked at my beautiful blue Jeep with it's black fenders, black steps, black Jeep badging (Sport Altitude edition), black grille trim, etc... I realized these fit in perfectly and added an extra touch I didn't know it needed.The covers are an exact match for the Jeep's cowl pieces and installing was a breeze.. even on the passenger side with me being too lazy to remove my stubby antenna. Granted the written instructions mentioned using a heat gun/hair dryer and I didn't bother with that, but they seem to be holding on very well. Less than 4 hours after install a huge rainstorm rolled in and I was worried the adhesive might not have gotten time to cure, but they're holding steadfast and not even acting like they want to budge.I thought it was a nice touch that they included an extra roll of the adhesive in case I wanted to remove them or ran into a major issue during install. Just one of those things that makes you think " these people really care."Overall I'm happy with my new trim pieces. I have plans to add colored stripes to the flag to show support for police, military, firefighters, EMS, corrections, etc.. but for now they're just that almost matte black that just seems to fit in perfectly with my Jeep. Well done.

If you're looking for a way to enhance the appearance of your Jeep Wrangler JL, I highly recommend these guards. They were a perfect fit for my Wrangler, which is white with black trim. The guards match the trim perfectly, giving my Wrangler an extra style boost. Not only that, but they were also effortless to install, saving me time and hassle. I'm hoping they will remain stuck for years, but as an Arizona resident, I know summer heat can be brutal on vehicle accessories. Still, I'm confident that these guards will hold up and continue to make my car look great.
