I've only had this for one day but I am loving it so far. It looks great on the Mac. Installation could not have been any easier, everything just snapped right into place. As seen in the pictures, the ports and vents are not covered at all, allowing the best operation. I bought this primarily for scratch protection. This covers everything perfectly for that. I can't say how much protection it will have from dropping, and I don't intend to test it, but it does appear that it will protect from minor drops. The surface doesn't feel perfectly smooth, it has a slight texture feel to it that will prevent slipping from your hands, but it feels like it is smooth enough if you are the type of person that likes to apply stickers. The rubber pads on the bottom will prevent slipping on your desk/table...they grip very well.Overall, this is a great buy for the price. No complaints or any negative issues yet.

So far I have not experienced the cracking etc that others have in 3 months. However, I do not do a lot of traveling with my laptop and mostly use it around the house or in stationary locations. Only travel is in a soft backpack where its pretty protected.The bottom front of the case itself does seem to slightly pop off a mm or so depending on how I am handling it but it has never popped off, broken, or been super annoying. Perhaps larger front clips would fix this.The top part of the case definitely adds some bulk to where if I hold the laptop in my hands etc it may bend backwards or forwards from the weight. This did not happen without the case - and Im not sure any case at all could fix this issue. Ive decided it is worth that to have the protection of the case.The reason I have to knock off a star is that I have lost one of the sticky pads on the bottom. It seems the adhesive holding these on is not super strong. By the time I noticed it, I had no idea where the pad dropped off. While this doesn't affect balance in an extreme way, it has affected grip and could lead to scratching of things that the laptop is laid on.

I love the matte look and feel of this case and the protection it offers for my laptop from scratches and dust. However, within 3 months of light use (bringing my laptop to and from school), both of the front corners have cracked. Being that this is a brand new macbook, I have been extremely careful and have never dropped it yet the case has cracked and the cracks are spreading. This case broke far too quickly to be worth the money spent.

Fits perfectly on my new Macbook! Color is spot on for the Space Black. Nice and slim fitting with tiny clips to hold it securely without the bulk. Like the texture as well. Highly recommended.

Bought this case, along with another highly rated option here on Amazon. This one was the winner. Very happy with quality, and appearance for the price.Cannot yet comment on durability or lifespan but overall aesthetic is good. Doesn’t attract finger prints, easy to install, transparent enough that apple logo is visible, colour is a good match, and thin enough that laptop maintains its slim appearance.Installation was easy, feels secure on laptop and I think it will be great protecting against scratches.

I really love this case. It fits perfectly, though you have to be careful when placing the top piece to do it evenly on all edges at the same time. It allows the Macbook to close completely, and it doesn't weight enough to force the lid down until you get REALLY close to closed. In other words, it does not have the problems anti-case zealots complain about. Another great feature is the texture. It does not slip out of my hand, it actually allows a stronger and more secure grip than the unprotected Macbook and most other cases I've used over the years.

Good case for my macbook pro m4 pro. I feel much more relaxed knowing it has a case that will protect the housing of the laptop.
