bought it hoping this would match the car specs and it did however it was a tricky fit. Took some effort so steps to install would have been good to make it easy , good quality and good value for money!now car is protected and this item helped

Good buy vs the outrageously marked up dealer prices! The item fit as designed, but it required some heat to adapt a clip into position. In the first unsuccessful attempt at installation, the part was aligned at the wide end (closer to the engine) and the first two clips went into position, but the more slender end towards the windshield would not clamp into position and hold the part in place. In another attempt, the part was taken off, the clips on the slender end were lightly heated with a lighter, and then gently pushed to modify its original form and better hold the position of the trim on the frame of the car. This modification now allowed the clips on the slender end to fit into their designed holding area first, and then the bottom pins were pushed through their respective holes. So, working top to bottom worked for us vs what is displayed on the YouTube video that used an OEM part, where he easily clamped it on bottom to top. With this heat-alteration, the part seats correctly and holds in place. Throughout the installation, it is recommended to have a flashlight, a small piece of wood (a popsicle stick was used) to help push the clips into place without scratching the paint, and open the hood of the vehicle to gain a better view/angle of the installation. Overall, the little bit of tinkering was worth it, and we are happy with our purchase!

The delivery is fast. As soon as I received the cowl trim extension cover, I installed it less than 3 minutes on both parts. It fits perfectly on my 2017 Nissan Rogue SL AWD. I love Nissan original parts but I have to learn how to accept generic brand and save money. Some generic parts are really similar to OEM parts. It's the same quality and just doesn't have the dealer OEM name logo. It took 2 hours to decide on buying this item. I read some reviews for this item. Most of them are good because it fits and few are bad because it did not fit. I was looking for a review that will have a comment describing specific what year of their Nissan Rogue. Only few are describing NIssan Rogue but no year of the car. I hope this will help to all buyer that need to replace their parts for cowl trim extension cover. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchaseðŸ‘😀âââââ😎.
