Don't let the cheap Chinese quality scare you away, I bought a $180 brand name (and brand new) carb and it wouldn't run the 1952 8n I have. After a lot of wasted time trying to troubleshoot I found out it was a bad carb and could not get a refund. This carb cost me less than $50 with expedited shipping and right out of the box it made my tractor run and drive again. As for longevity, we will just have to see how long it lasts but for now it's exactly what I was looking for.

Giving it 4 stars because it does leak a bit. However, my 9N has never ran better, I'll sacrifice a small leak for how well it runs...STARTING TIP: these carbs WILL flood. Choke it, throttle all the way down/off, when it pops off throttle up and you're good to go

Don't purchase. It fits the manifold but the size is different. Linkages don't fit correctly. Due to size difference you cant bring the throttle lower than half. Don't waste your money.

Wow! After weeks struggling with my zenith (which was rebuilt years ago) and needing a new kit that was nonexistent, I broke down and bought this thinking it wouldn't solve my problem. My 1947 9n runs better than it ever has now! For the money and the result this was well worth it. Starts Quicker, runs stronger and smoother.

I am truly impressed with this carburetor. With a price of only. $34.00, I was somewhat concerned about how it would perform. I am happy to say that it's performance on my 74 year old 8N tractor is flawless without having to make any adjustments to the well constructed carb or the tractor. I also appreciate that everything I needed to install it was in the box. the installation took 30 minutes......Job well done!

Make sure to measure for fit!!! My tractor was 2 3/8" c-c.Also came with a damaged fuel line adapter. Otherwise its plug and play, old tractor is running like new!
