I have a 96 F150 I took the metal plate off the back of the tailgate completely and had the tailgate filled sanded and painted… Most of these Ford emblems have little nipples, but you can take a grinder and shave them off really easily… Emblem has super sticky two sided tape that fits perfectly on your truck… If wanting to put on something flat, just get a grinder or Roto zip and cut off the little nipples and it will lay flat on any truck surface

this works perfect for the tailgate, but the front emblem on the Ford F150 hood needs longer prongs.

Needed a new emblem for my 2011 Ranger and took a chance on this one, even though it's not listed for it. The size was correct and all of the pins lined up with the holes in the tailgate. Happy because I saved some money as the Ranger one was much more expensive.

Good quality OEM part. Alignment is easy with the pins molded in place. It is a bit of a struggle to get the old one off. Use auto interior pry tools and go slow, working around the old emblem. I used magic eraser to remove the old adhesive. Some have used rubber wheels in a disc grinder or drill. Be careful not to burn the paint. Back to the actual part, I would certainly buy again.

They say it doesn't fit 2007f150 tailgate but it's the exact fit and it looks great exact match

Comes bubble wrapped from china, does not screw into place actually is just stuck on. Haven't tried to put it on yet because the bolts from my faded OEM label are rusted on.Color and size appears to be very similar not sure anyone would notice this is not an OEM part.
