This was dead simple to install with just a flat blade screwdriver to release the ball clips, following directions on a YouTube video. Took about 20 minutes total. My 2013 Flex liftgate had been getting progressively worse at opening and closing, requiring hand pressure to assist it in both directions. I replaced the gas struts but that only partially helped. The new motor has it opening and closing on its own just like when new.

I had a problem on my 2014 Ford Flex with the tail gate partially opening, binging and then closing again, or visa versa. I had to manually force the tail gate up or down,. which became harder and harder over time. This part was easy to replace and now the lift gate is working like new again.

My rear hatch would fail to open fully and stop moving within a few inches. My mechanic, Mr. Google suggested replacing the Lift Gate Actuator. It wasn't a big deal to replace. I just had to remove a plastic cover and unclip the actuator at the top and bottom, as well as the electrical connector. Then it was a simple matter to install the new one in reverse order. This fixed the problem and I am very happen to have a work rear hatch again. The delivery as as quoted I am happy with this provider. Thank you.
