39" long key tip inner shaft comes on Series SR, TX, LX motors. Also many discontinued models. Replacement shafts require a VERY light coating of Foredom grease before use. Be sure to UNPLUG your motor before doing any maintenance and NEVER operate your Foredom with the outer sheath removed.

I had needed this set for quite some time and when the cable in my Foredom Tool finally broke I placed my order. In just a few days I was back in business and very happy with the perfect fit and the operation of this set on my 30 + year old Foredom Tool! I am overall well pleased with this purchase overall!

Easy to install in my Foredom with a broken spring. The thing that took the longest was getting the new shaft greased up. Works without any problems.

This cable & housing are a good replacement on my Foredom. I would have given 5 stars if the proper assembly lube would have been included. Proper assembly lube is required for the flex shaft to operate properly and last.

Excellent replacement flexible shaft and outer housing for my indispensable Foredom TX bench tool. It's a little time consuming to install and be really careful that you don't lose the little ball bearing that holds the shaft cover to the motor. That's an odd and clunky design but no reflection on the quality of this OEM replacement.Once I got the flex cable greased up and installed on the motor, it was whisper quiet and worked a lot better than the original that I had simply worn out. I burned a couple of holes through the outer housing with various shop accidents and didn't grease it properly when it was new.Overall, an excellent shaft and housing that works great..

Foredom is a major name in flexshaft motorized grinding tools for wood and metal working. The 'Achilles Heel' in the system is the shaft. This set also comes with a fresh shield and that will be needed more times than not, as the internal spiral can 'bulge' the sheath when it fails. Buy two: when one fails you will reorder. That will still give you one working maintenance kit. Two will see you through until the replacement (which arrived promptly for me) can be put to use.
