Buy it!!!! Do not even hesitate to buy this helmet!!!! This helmet is of great Quality you will dig it, it does it’s job and does it right and it is a great price!!!!! Yes!!! There are more expensive helmets out there and yes there are cheaper helmets out there. But this helmet is strong, it and everything on it functions perfectly, it’s got mad style, it looks Bad Ass on your head, it has triple protection and the price, is absolutely amazing. Long story, longer. This helmet fits and feels great on your head, it looks super cool, it has amazing features and Most importantly it works great and it is tough as nails. It fits your head snuggly even without wearing the chinstrap, with the chinstrap on your chin, it fits really secretly and with the ear protection on, you will feel as though not even a tornado could rip this helmet off your head.You really don’t even need to wear the chin strap if you are using the ear protection.And yes the ear protection works great. I bought this helmet for arboring and I really like it for that but I will admit it, I wore this helmet during a large wood burn, yes I did feel like the biggest Puss wearing a helmet during a wood burn, but “I’ll tell you whatâ€!!!! I will never do another wood burn without wearing a helmet with a face shield, the screen face shield on this helmet kept my face 30° cooler when I was standing close to the hot Fire I’m not much of a chinstrap wearing kind of guy, but wearing the chinstrap with this helmet does definitely make it way more secure on your head and it just feels and fits better when wearing the chinstrap. Specially if you wear glasses, the chinstrap will keep the forehead section of the helmet riding a little higher on your forehead, to keep the helmet from hitting your glasses and being uncomfortable. One negative, is that the adjustable air vents / heat vents on the side of the helmet are a little tricky to get to when the ear protection is attached, but it’s no big deal, you can still work it.

This forestry safety helmet is exactly what I needed for chainsaw work and outdoor projects. Given the price I was not expecting anything that would hold up for long. I was only trying to prevent getting hit in the eye during string trimming by a flying rock or pebble. I am not a logger. This is ideal with a build and quality that seems ridiculously inexpensive. The interior headband crank tightens to a snug fit and I have not needed to use the chin strap. Assembly did not seem as difficult as many reviewers mentioned. Ear protection is good and visibility with the mesh face screen which accompanied the helmet is also fine. Overall very please and it sure beats getting hit in the head with a rock or pointy stick.

We did 4 days of chipping with an industrial 12" chipper and it kept us safe. The ear protection could be a bit better but the machine was a monster. It was quiet enough for chain saw work. I liked the screen rather than a plexiglass shield, but some wood dust came through if the wind shifted. It fits tight, and not easy to adjust the chin strap, but overall it did the job well.

This was a great product. The hurricane required many days of chainsaw work. Thank god I had this. It saved me several times. As the winds were still blowing the next day, limbs had a tendency to fall as I was working below. It is adjustable to any size head to make it comfortable and I wore airpods under the ear protection comfortably.

Been using a chainsaw many years while not having proper safety gear, I decided it was time. This helmet is comfortable, gives protection for my head, ears and eyes. I have used it this winter and should have bought one years ago! For me, it is worth more and cheaper than a trip to the ER.

I have worn more than several forestry safety hard hats over the past 35 years and witnessed it saving my well-being and others. This is an overall great hard hat that meets the new ANSI 2014 standards for the price. For some who say it's too loose and falls off, that's why they require chin straps now so wear it. My only complaint is the earmuffs don't seem to snap outward (open) they are always under tension making sliding them back up on the helmet take a few more seconds than usual. I always wear safety glasses along with this helmet when sawing as it has saved me more than once from getting chips in my eyes. This also helps if you are struggling to see through the mesh visor on a cloudy day you can flip it up and still have eye protection. Don't be one of the 84% of head injured construction workers not wearing an approved hard hat, just buy one then wear it the return on investment is unmeasurable.
