Good durable brush for clean up of surface rust. I keep several of these on hand. Sometimes I need to clean screws and bolts that have rust, debris or old thread locking compound on them. I just brush the stuff away.These also can clean a file as well. Not as durable as a file card, but good enough to clean up bunked metal on your file.Sometimes you have a battery that leaked out and corrosion started on the terminals. Use this brush to clean the corrosion.

I got this to clean my gardening tools. So far it has worked great on my Felco handheld pruners and my bigger loppers. Just spray some WD40 on there and scrub away. It gets the dirt, grime, and even rust off, no problem. This brush is exactly what I wanted, and I'm sure I'll be back for another one once the one I have wears out.

Something as small and trivial as this little brass brush is hard to have anything negative to say. I bought this to brush off the tiny little brass nozzles on my 3D printer. They get bits of melted plastic stuck to them and have a tendency to "ooze" plastic while pre-heating. This brush is small enough and just bristly enough to keep my nozzles clean between print jobs. My only complaint is that the wooden handle isn't terribly well finished. It's not rough or splintered, but a once-over with some 600-grit sandpaper would make it more pleasant to hold. For what it's worth mine says "CHINA" on it and the product photo says "MEXICO" -- I can't imagine that means much to many people, but an observation nonetheless.

I've purchased several sets of small brushes but so far the bristles have been too limp to do what I need. I use brass to clean old threadsealer off of harder metal plugs and fasteners. This brush does a much better job. Great price. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this little wire brush to scrub the wire screen area on the underside of kitchen and bathroom faucets. Our water is hard and leaves tiny mineral deposits that deflect the faucet water when it builds up, causing spray where I don't want it, including spraying me! This little brush is slender, sturdy and just the right size and strength for the task.

I've been sorely disappointed by tons of brass bristle brushes over the years. The wires are not hardened and fold over at the mere sight of work, let alone actually doing some. Forney has put quality wires in these brushes so they don't do that. I haven't had it long enough to say how long they'll hold up, but so far, they're working as required. Thanks, Forney.

The brush certainly works. Mine had a dozen or so super long wires coming out which are so obvious no way did someone do a quality check before shipping. I could snip them off but havent bothered. They dont intefere with its functions.
