Forestner bits can be a real challenge. I expected for the price that this would be a "one and done" kind of bit, but I have been shockingly surprised! It works as it should and does a much better job than many I've bought for more cost. I will definitely be buying this brand again.

Bought this bit to make an egg holder and this was the size I needed for the holes. It made a mess. The bit tore up the wood and didn’t make any holes. Had to go buy another bit at harbor freight and that bit worked perfectly. So it wasn’t user error since I was able to use the bit from harbor freight with no problems.

I converted old style external hinges to European style on about 35 cabinets, so over 70 holes. Once I set up a little jig and a depth stop on my drill press it took only a minute to do each cabinet door and the holes are perfect. No sign of the drill bit dulling. The last holes were as good as the first. Highly recommend this product.
