The isolator ensures that the shield ground on each audio cable is isolated from any equipment ground, which could cause audible noise when amplified. This device has four channels, composed of two pairs of stereo (L+R) inputs and outputs. The nominal DC impedance of the device is 100 ohms and the audio impedance is 3500 ohms at 1000 Hz. The nominal input power is 50 watts, with a maximum power level of 100 watts. High quality!!!

TLDR: BUY THIS IT WORKS!1st I want to say in 10 years of Amazon purchases this is probably the 2nd review I've actually left for any product. In my new home theater with all the same equipment from my previous theatre hooked up. I had a ground loop 60hz hum going on behind my screen where 2 of my 3 18" fully martys sit. No matter what swapping xlr to rca connections, changing power cables, swapping amps it still existed only with those 2 subs. I run 2 nx6000D amps for my 3 18s and a nx3000 amp for my 8 12s in a heze setup. I have 3 dedicated 20 amp circuits ran to the room and it was still giving me a 60hz ground hum. I tried lifting the ground with a 3 to 2 prong adapter briefly to see if it was a ground loop somewhere that didnt work. I unplugged EVERYTHING 1 by 1 to find a culprit to no luck.My next step was to trace my sub wires which happen to also be ran inside my attic above the room some parts covered in spray foam thinking I have a lighting wire in close proximity causing the issues. Then I read a few reviews and said he'll for $25 why not try this device....IT WORKS NO MORE DANG HUM!!!!!!!!!! This is my personal experience zero discount or kick backs from company. Just it solved the hum!!!!!!!!I did have to rerun REW as my levels did drop around 3db after plugging this in but no biggie NO MORE DAM HUMMING FTW!

Have an aftermarket android stereo from china. it's cheap, had a ton of electrical noise and alternator whine through the RCA's. I know it was the RCA's because i'm only running through the audio and subwoofer RCA outputs, not internal speaker outputs from the stereo. If you're in a similar setup with similar noises, this will 100% work for you. You will need to adjust your EQ because it slightly lowers the volume of the signal, but I got both subwoofer amp and factory stereo amp all pumping good and clean.

First thing is that you have a fun puzzle to solve with this. You have two inputs on one end, two outputs on the other. Which connects to which? Seems like some label tags would be useful or something indicating where they connect, but you don't get that. If you look at the box, you have to ensure that the wires on one side are the same on the other. Fine on a workbench, not fine when you're installing this in a trunk or under a dashboard. I used a paint pen to color the wire heads. This is silly. I mean, if you don't mind taking a gamble on reversing your left/right channels, you can just send it and not worry. No thanks.Worst part is that it doesn't do jack squat. I had an alternator whine before using this, still have it after. This is the very definition of "you had one job". Now I have to get back into my car, pull out the trunk plastics, pull back the carpets and remove this dumb thing. Just what I felt like doing. I feel dumb for just assuming it would work and installing the trunk interior after connecting this useless thing.

The order I used it inStereo -> RCA Cables -> Isolator-> AmpI had a pretty bad alternator whine, static and every now and then I’d get popping. No issues now, will update review if it fails.Only Con is that there are only 2 colors for 4 channels, so I marked the top red and black with a white paint marker, on both sides, and left the bottom 2 alone as the same colors and it helps distinguish which is which.

It works, about 95% of the time. Doesn't work if the audio it to loud. Yes I've had others that do work better at those levels. It all n all feels nice but the quality is probably pretty poor on the inside.Edit after 1 week:The right side of my car audio come in louder. Every drive it is crackley which is worse then when it's installed. I am constantly hearing the queeling of electricity. It works for about the first 5 minutes after a cold start but I believe the device is overheating.

I have used these on many Pioneer radios, because Pioneers seems to always blow the Pico fuse which results in a high pitched hiss through the speakers. This simple device solves all of that. It is easy to use and easy to connect to your RCAs. I would suggest installing this behing the radio where these devices tend to work best.

It's easy to install, but literally does so little to take out the alternator noise that I reordered two 2channel Installgear ground loop eliminators for my full range because they work great.
