Works on a 1978 El Camino. Started trouble shooting the factory AC system as to why the AC clutch would not engage. After some time on the world wide web a FB group member suggest this switch. I broke out the multi meter and tested the resistance and it was not good. Found this online and had it at my door in 2 days. Put it on the car and the AC is working as it should. The resistance on the new switch was .2.

Ordered 35720 which was supposed to be a fixed cycling switch. I received 35849 which is adjustable. Not the part I needed for a 77 Pontiac.

Purchased for a 1978 Cadillac "C" body. Does the job. However, does not mount the same way as the original GM part did.
