The older I get the farther I get from the ground sitting on my bike, just lowered it a good inch or 2 inches. It’s perfect now my feet are flat on the ground heavy duty well-made I went and got some stainless steel nuts and bolts. Which they should send anyways, but that is China.

I have installed this lowering kit on a couple of Road Kings. They work great! I recommend going less than the full three inches. It will bottom out. I went 2 and it's doing fine.

First, these come with no instructions. Just a bag of nuts, bolts and washers. Nothing to tell you that the threads on the bolts do not match the threads on your bike (I was installing them on a road glide). So I got a bolt stuck in the top coil over mount. The head of the bolt twisted right off, so that tells me the bolts are cheap as hell. Getting the bolt out was crazy. Broke a bolt extractor, and eventually had to put a pipe wrench on it. Completely ruined the bolt hole, and had to drill and retap the threads on my $40k Harley. Not to mention, the blocks do not fit (24 road glide). The bottom of the coil over will not bolt up at the bottom because the block sticks out too far. Not sure if I installed it incorrectly or not, ya know, because there’s no instructions. I YouTubed an installation video, and I was installing it correctly according to the video. It just wouldn’t match up. So these things are cheap for a reason. A complete waste of money and time, which ended up almost costing me big time if I wasn’t able to get the bolt out and retap the hole myself. Luckily I was able to do that.

I had a 2 in lowering kit I’m excited to put on a 3 in lowering kit now. Hopefully it’ll help my feet touch down on the ground.
