No issue installing these onto my 4/6/8/12†Mitutoyo absolute digimatic calipers. I also have a Fowler caliper that it fits on. Not sure why other people have issues with fitment as it seems that it will fit a wide range of calipers.My only complaint would be that I would like to have a couple shorter screw in probes but every part including the piece that attaches to the caliper is precision ground and can be used for referencing as well. This works well for getting down deeper into holes or getting around a feature to measure something else.

I have had to send this back twice because the holes are not tapped thoroughly enough. The first time I couldn't even get the threaded inserts into one of the holes because of all the burrs, and the second time I couldn't get it back out the first time I put the insert in and it snapped off while trying to get it out. The quality of this product is not worth the headache. Please, take my advice, don't buy this!

i paid extra to get a caliper set from Fowler assuming it would be high quality compared to lower cost sets. I was wrong , this arrived and it was obvious that it was a generic Chinese set that Fowler did abolutely nothing to. The set screws were so poorly finished that you couldn't screw them in. I suspected a counterfeit and called Fowler ...they confirmed that what i had was really their product. VERY dissapointing. I ordered a replacement from AnyTime here on Amazon ...very nice and a lot cheaper.
