The corresponding dimensions for each pair are alike and within 0.0005". The set of V-block and clamp is hardened for durability and wear resistance and is perfect for holding, grinding, drilling, milling, EDM inspection on surface plates or optical comparators.

Bought these as a gift for my son. He is going to school to be a machinist. The fowler brand has been around for many years and is known for quality v-bocks. He has used them a few times on projects at school and they work as advertised. You will not go wrong buying this product.

Clamps broke with finger tight tension on 1/2†soft copper pipe. I returned the whole set. The blocks were decent, in square and parallel, but they were not any better than other similar or lower priced blocks. Don’t overpay for a brand name that isn’t good anymore.

The blocks are fine. One of the large block clamps broke at the slightest WHIFF of torque. It turns out cast Chinesium breaks easily.

They were wrapped in plastic and oiled, but it was done poorly. They have rust spots on all the blocks. A couple of them had what looks like lapping compound on them as well. I checked them on my granite surface plate and they are ground to good precision, but rust brand new out of the box is unacceptable. I paid more for these thinking they would be of higher quality. I was mistaken. If they had shown a bit of care to protect them from rust I would have been thrilled with the set, but as it is I feel I was taken.

Good product for the money but the clamps are garbage pot metal, broke 1 of each before I made my own. Still worth the money

I would have given it a 5 star however it does not have cross rods for the vise screws, although they are drilled for them. They are however, nicely knurled.I dont know if they are supposed to have them or not.They served well for drilling round stock in the drill press. Nice finish. A great addition to the tool set.
