It has 2 dovetail mounting locations and includes 2 dovetail clamps (0.375" and 0.156"), and an adjustable bezel for easy zeroing. It features a carbide ball contact point for extended wear. It has a 1-year warranty offered by Fowler High Precision. Fowler, an American company, manufactures inspection and measuring instruments such as electronic indicators, calipers, bore gages, and micrometers. The Fowler X test was a replacement for a 40-year-old interapid indicator made in Switzerland that indicator is the best one I have ever used I have worked as a tool and die maker now for 40 years and I'm getting very close to retirement so the old one broke the other day and I needed another one and I saw the Fowler X test so I bought it and it works very well I have been very pleased with it and will continue to use it until I retire.

The 0.06 travel is awesome and replaceable tips are great very smooth no side to side travel like spi indicators

The indicator showed up timely & undamaged. Works well & seems to be accurate. The .060 range is great. A very nice copy of an interrapid. Description states 1½ inch diameter dial, the indicator that showed up has a 1 inch dial, hard to read for us guys with old eyes. Very disappointing to open box & find the small dial. I would have returned it, but I needed the thing the next day. Mine got smashed by an apprentice.I gave it 4 stars because of description being wrong .

Great indicator and easy to read. This is my second one, had to get another because the plastic cover on the dial cracked and came off after dropping several times. I replaced with the same one, because I like this one soo much.

Dial display was stated to be 1.5inch and what was sent to me was a 1inch dial display. I havr a harder time seeing smaller print so I was glad to see this one had a bigger dial display and was disappointed when I received the 1inch instead.

Altered ReviewThe site glass fell out shortly after buying this. I assumed it was just not assembled correctly but that was an error. I have lost my return window and the glass has fallen out again and is lost.I also have a big problem with the short stylus on this. I find it difficult to nudge the stylus safely into a hole as it is short and has little room for safety. I risk crushing my finger if not careful with the dial on the CNC machine.Overall, the motion seems good but this is a big disappointment. I won't be too bothered by this but it would not be a very nice item for a younger apprentice to be saddled with, especially as a first big investment. I bought this as there are a few floating around my shop that seemed good quality. I guess things have changed.
