I bought these in size 11 (I'm usually a 10 1/2) and the boots were really comfortable with a bit of extra room for thick socks when the water gets colder. They slide on and off really easily. They are light but feel durable with a slick rubber texture on the inside. I was surprised at the quality for this price and they were delivered very quickly.

I wear a size 14 shoe so ordered size 14. There is a lot of room in the boots so the first time I tried to use them I ended up taking them off and fishing without waders. I've put an extra insert in them and will wear thicker socks and try again one of these days. Otherwise they are well enough made.

I haven't gotten these in the water yet, but upon first inspection, they seem like they'll do the job at least for a while. They're pretty thin in comparison to higher priced waders. I'm afraid they might rip as I walk through the swamp. I'll update my review when I get them tested. They're definitely going to be cold in March and April waters in Wisconsin. Gonna need isolated wader socks.

...I bought these hip boots for one reason...to launch my Duck Boat in Duck & Goose season. They work fine for that application. However...if you decide you will be walking a lot....I suggest you purchase some foot inserts. My boots don't feel like they do not have any arch support. Right now it's 32 degrees out and I wear 2mm spandex water/wader socks and a very heavy over the calf hunting socks. The pattern of the legging is fine and this inside of it is rubber. The boots have Velcro belt straps to keep them secure. Overall for the $money$ and my application...'They are just Ducky'...!!! SFGS! Semper Fi Godspeed!!

Boots are pretty good, they fit okay. The right boot leaks the first time I wore them. As hip waders are made to go in the water the leak makes them unusable.

I initially bought the full-size chest-waders, and was so thoroughly impressed by how they performed that I ordered these hip waders, which are identical material and workmanship. There are a couple of very useful features that these have which I have found in few others. First, there is a cutaway at the upper part of the inner thigh, which makes them fit SUPER well without chafing your groin like most other hip-waders do. Second, the belt attachment is high-quality velcro, which is MUCH easier than the parachute clips, and adjusts instantly (unlike the parachute-clip adjustment mechanism). The only downside is that they are a bit narrow around the leg - which could be either a good thing or a bad thing, depending upon what you're using them for - good if you want to move quietly, bad if you want to layer under it.

Few things about the wadersNot very comfortable- no foot bed.Tight upper part, if you wear any pants under. The material- fabric is very thin and provides zero isolation from cold water. Not sure about the durability- had it only once for launching my boat.

I bought these for a Friend. The 1st set leaked on a seam so I sent them back. But she liked them enough I bought the same ones again.Feb 01/25 Edit: Don't buy these hip waders. Both set's I've bought for a friend have leaked in short order on the seams. They are a waste of money, and I can't send the second set back so I'm pissed....
