This is a new small block Chevy flexplate. 168 tooth. This is a external balance flexplate that will work with 383/400 engines. Stamped from a extra thick 5/32" cold rolled steel plate for extra strength. Features double welded ring gears and is a direct bolt on component. SFI 29.1 approved balanced and checked for run-out. SFI certification sticker in included.

My SFI flex plate i got was not balanced as described in the add. It had a BAD WABBLE from manufacture. Had to shim one bolt from behind which didn't want to do but i was out of my window for returning item from defect. Not KJM fault I've ordered tones of items from them on amazon and eBay and they are great items and the price it better then anyone else. I just got a bad flex plate on this order.

good quality flex plate. sfi rated, but they shouldn't have painted it. paint will cause the plate bolts to work loose over time. i had to buff off all the paint on all the mating surfaces before installing the plateand then run the starter on it for a minute or two intermittently to wear the paint off the teeth before i could properly set starter drive clearance. other than that it is straight and true and works very well.

Product looks great, much better than the last one I bought. I will not say any names but the other one lasted about four starts and it was a SFI flywheel

This flywheel worked fine seemed to be well made the paint or coating was a little thick on it and made it fit a little tight
