Been using these filters forever. Never had to use anything else. They work just fine. If you change your oil when you need to!!!! They are perfectly fine. Fit like a glove for a 2014 Chevy Cruze 1.4 EcoTec.

I noticed in this filter as I have with others prior fram is not the company they used to be when it comes to the media they're using. Still good filters don't get me wrong. Just not that top premium go to anymore their media has gotten thinner well at the same time oils have gotten thinner so the Micron filtration is less as well on something I could carry so much that could do harm on an engine meaning the oil carrying. They just don't impress me any more and this filter particularly claiming to be a 10,000 mile filter there's no way this is a 10,000 mile filter when their premium filters are the ones that are rated higher up to 10K. I'm definitely not impressed with the product claiming to be a 10,000 mile filter so I do take a star off of this for two reasons one that claim, and two for like I said the media just isn't what it used to be in the filtration media. Not a bad product just not an impressive product anymore. But for the right price it's a great product I do recommend them as well still depending on your needs and wants at the time and also budget being in the shoe box as well.
