I have used this filter on my 2004 Chevy Tahoe since it was new. It has 213,000 miles and uses no oil on an oil change. I change oil every 4,000 miles. The price is less than other brands.

They fit ,they filter, they’re Fram. I have used them for years with out any problems. I like the bottom of the filter, especially the gritty ones to help tighten and loosen the filter. I have heard pro’s and con’s about the efficiency of the filter, and I have cut alot of them apart, didn’t see any problems. Tore down engines that used Fram filters and didn’t see anything that I could actually blame on the filter. Yes, there are better filters. But are you buying a better filter or a knockoff of a better filter. Or is China making that filter for that high priced filter.

I recently purchased the FRAM Extra Guard PH3506 oil filter for my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and I have to say, I'm quite impressed with it. I have never had a problem with my oil filter as long as I used Fram. Been using them for 30 years now. They also seem to keep the oil cleaner as well but that is just me looking at the dipstick.
