I have always heard good and bad about Fram but I think people don't realize most filters work about the same. I do oil changes often. It's my gear and repairs are expensive. Oil and filters are cheap. Play Russian roulette if you want, I'll just play it safe and change often. These are half the price of Autozone's filters
