Great oil filter for my 19’ RAM 1500 Sport 5.7L (Gen5). I’ve always used these since I never had any issues with them as far as leaks, fitment or anything else when changing my oil. I do like the grip tape it has at the bottom which makes it easier to install do to the weird position where the filter is located on these trucks.

They are small and did the trick. They light easily and without mess. It takes one small cube and they light easily. They are easy to grip and look like little all cubes.. i like the fact that they are safer to use than most starters and and they function very well. They hold up very well and the bag they come in was sealed.

You just don't use unknown, untested oil or oil filters in anything you want to work. Oil has lots of specifications marked on the bottle, so you can at least tell what you are getting, but not how it's made. Cheapo oil filters can be good, or dangerously incapable. There are some oil filters sold that are not much more than a roll of paper towels wrapped around a perforated tube. Either do extensive research on your oil & oil filter choice, or buy a top tier products recommended by the manufacturer. Or both. There may be some marginally better oil filters out there, but they will be more expensive. A majority of the filters out there are not going to be as good, regardless of cost.

Box came a little beat up from Amazon...but the filter was like new looking.Always use this XG filter when doing my oil change....never an issue and can keep on for the second oil change... saving you money and time... always using synthetic.
