I love these filters after having used FRAM filters for decades on several types of vehicles and also using the high performance and regular oil filters without any issues. They work very well and are very cost effective. It is easy to replace and comes with a new O-ring. Just put a dap of fresh oil on the new O-ring to prevent it from getting out of place when tightening the filter.

This is a nice, high quality filter for my Volkswagen TSI engines. Other people have have noted the change to mesh on the ends. This is actually requirement for the longer interval oil changes. The previous filter had plastic ends and was only good for 10,000 mi. However, VW discovered that the plastic could disintegrate over that time and mandated a change. So, all the 15K filters have mesh end no matter the brand.

I have a 2019 VW Tiguan and have been ordering this filter for every oil change. Seems to work great and easy to install as part of the regular oil change intervals.
