I purchased this for my son 7th birthday, and it came in today flimsy. The middle part to connect the two is bulging, the Joy controller working for properly. Overall save your money and buy something different. I returned it within hrs of receiving it.

This product is almost great, and I’m really disappointed that it’s not. I played Pinball at my aunt and uncles as a kid, and this toy provided some of that nostalgia. The problem is the execution. The plastic of this toy is not heavy duty and feels like it could get broken very easily (specifically the “joysticksâ€). The goalie paddle is also poorly designed and takes away from the game play. You can’t ignore the goalie paddle though because the side paddles are short and don’t cover the goal area. I would rather have the side paddles be longer so this can be played exactly the same as pinball (the goalie idea would need to be completely rethought/reworked to make this feature fun and useful).The biggest problem I see with this toy though is the setup and teardown wear and tear on this toy. Because of the overall low build quality, I don’t think this will survive being setup and put away too many times before something breaks. As far as the idea of this toy – it’s great! Is it fun? Yes! Is this something I can recommend? No. Unless it gets a redesign with a stronger and more durable design – and a rethink of the goalie system. I’d chose to buy something else.To Franklin: If the goalie system is going to be retained in any future iterations of this toy, I would like to see it be integrated into the joysticks (something like: both joysticks having inside buttons for goalie and outside buttons for paddles). It’s just too clumsy to have to let go of the joysticks.
