I’m very surprised with how nice these lights turned out. You simply remove the old can light bulb and trim and ring, install the socket pigtail, connect it to the light and then snap the light up. Done! It took me longer to clean up the ceiling mess that came down during removal than it did to install these lights.These are dimmable and have selectable color temperature to tune the light to fit your home or to change whenever you want. That flexibility means they’ll be useful in the future if you happen to change your style.All “-in-all these are a no-brainer-purchase if you’re wanting to improve your old can lighting quickly and easily.

These are such a better look than my old can lights with a bulb. Very low profile and the lighting options are excellent. Be sure to put the springs into the claws inside the can! (I installed 12 bulbs before I looks at the directions. Whoops!) They are definitely bright!

The price is great for the amount you get. They were easy enough to install- slightly more steps than name brand ones (the clips have to be installed on each one) but the brightness adjustment works great, they went flush to the ceiling and I didn't have a failure. I call that a win. The price is excellent considering how much other ones are that do the same thing

Great lights but if they were having just 2-3mm bigger outer rings, could have been better to hide those cracks and drywall halls. Also the cable should come out of the middle and not from side for easy installation. Overall great product.

I spent a long time looking for retrofits for my old can lights. These are undoubtedly an upgrade in terms of appearance.I had an electrician install some other flat LEDs and I was searching for retrofits that are a close match. These were the most similar in terms of dimensions and were very easy to install. I have three issues so far.1) the individual LEDs can be seen at dimmer levels. On my other can lights the light is more uniform and you can’t see the LEDs.2) the colors are a bit off. In my second photo you can see this product on the right over the fireplace compared against my hardwired LEDs on the left. The left is at 3000K and the right is 2700K. If I change the retrofits to “3000K†then it is much cooler than the hardwired ones- I’d say it’s actually about 3500K. I’m thinking the color levels are just made up on the unit.3) you can only buy large quantities. I needed ten 6†and four 4â€. Buying similar ones from the Home Depot would cost more than buying 24 of each size here! I wanted to stick with the same brand, so this was the only option I could find. I figure I’ll keep some on hand for when these start dying or might give them to friends.Overall I have mixed feelings. I was really hoping for a little higher quality light, and I assumed incorrectly that color temperature was standardized across brands.If you are only using these and have no other LEDs then you will be very happy. Very nice finish easy to install and the best is that you can change color temp to your liking.
