I purchased these freestanding metal supports to help stabilize our gate, and they are definitely well-made and sturdy. They provide great support and are easy to set up, making them a solid choice for most standard gates.However, since the gate we purchased was extra long, we ended up not needing the stands. The gate held up well on its own, so the supports weren’t necessary in our case. That being said, I can see them being really useful for shorter or lighter gates that need extra stability.Overall, a great product, just not the right fit for our specific setup!

I needed a way to make a piece of plywood stand up for a display board to hang some items on at a craft fair. This worked perfect because it's adjustable and I had no problems with my display board leaning or wobbling at all! Very versatile!I can see how this works really well for puppy or baby play yard panels as extra reinforcement. Highly recommend!

I had wood ones that came with gate but my pup was chewing the wood, these metal ones work like a charm. They should ship these with gates instead of the wooden ones
