Wore these while hiking 20 miles through some rocky cactus-ridden hills in Colorado during an elk hunt. They held up and kept cactus spines out of my feet and legs. Luckily, didn’t see any snakes. I’m 6’ and 230lbs. They fit very well on me and my Rocky combat boots with plenty of room for adjustment. Surprisingly, the rubber straps on the bottom held up against scaling sharp rocks. I was skeptical when I first bought them but happy I did. Would purchase again.

A lot of people are saying they were bad to use and they were hard digging into their shin or whatever it is, but I find it very comfortable and easy to work with. Also, they are very very waterproof. Haven’t gotten by snake yet but if I do, I’ll update it with a protection.

I'm 65 and I find them somewhat difficult to put on. I have to get help to get them on. They also make my legs sweat a great deal. On a positive note they are well made and should protect me when I'm fishing from the bank.

I spent a lot of time looking at different gaiters before buying these, and I'm glad I did.First, these come down low enough on the heel. It never made sense to protect your legs and leave an uncovered area.Second, the fact there are 2 straps that go under your boot really helps to secure it in position.100%, would buy again.

Every seam has about a 1/4" gap. I was easily able to puncture through. I would not roll the dice with this product. I have Water Moccasins and Copper Heads on my property. With this product I do not feel safe walking around. Anyone know where I can get some solid leather ones?
