This is a very helpful accessory for the French horn. You may have noticed that if you play it for longer periods, the horn slides down. This item will help with that, not putting all the weight of the horn on the pinky finger. I am very satisfied with the product.

It’s good but at times it just isn’t tight enough and it gets in the way of pressing down on the valves and gets annoying .

This was bought as a gift for a young French Horn player. The stretch on the pinky was hard on them. This provides a hand wrapping loop that connects the palm/center of the hand to that loop. Takes the pressure off of the pinky. Which is a fantastic idea!However in this application of that idea... when it is on the case it hard to close. It is putting a lot of pressure on the latches etc... There is some worry that it will eventually cause dents in the instruments tubing but so far there seems to be no problem.My conclusion:I would recommend it for those looking for some relief for the pinky. It was easy to put on the horn and has definitely been useful.
