Tried this (event though it is scented as I wanted to see how it compared to the Fresh Step Outstretch (our go to litter is the unscented Outstretch).The heavy duty formula is significantly dustier and visibly coarser (my youngest cat is disabled and prefers sandy textured litter). Odor control is on par with the Outstretch and the scent, while noticeable, was not overbearing (like the Outstretch Scented) and it didn't stick to or linger on their fur.Overall I was satisfied with the Heavy Duty Litter and 3 of my 4 cats used it without complaint. I would definitely buy it again if Outstretch Unscented was unavailable.

I’ve used this brand more than any other over the years. Fresh step is the only cat litter that I’ve used that controls odors, scoops easy and keeps my cats happy. Some others I’ve tried still leave a general cat smell, but Fresh step works to where people can come in and not know we have cats unless they see them. This version of their litter is great, as is all the other types of clumping Fresh Step that I’ve used. I recently cheated and tried a different clumping litter that was dust free, but it didn’t clump as well or control odors. So back to Fresh step we went. The only con I have with fresh step is excessive dust.

Good kitty litter! It traps the smell, clumps up perfectly and I don’t have to use a lot of it.
