I have been using these for a couple of years now and I'm happy with them. It's cheap insurance and they're priced right compared to a standard Ryan and many other temp recorders.

I used this temp logger to monitor the temp inside of an outbuilding over the winter months. The logger was easy to set up following very clear instructions. Because the environment was dirty and potentially wet, I left the logger in it's plastic bag. I was able to view the reports within minutes. Note that this is a one time use logger. Any unused "space" is lost once it is turned off.

I prefer the report in both PDF and Excel, also include temperature units of ℃and F. It is very convenient to analyze data for what I used it for.

Update: there is a 10 minute delay, and then these start to record. Also, if not in the temp range they will blink red every :30 instead of green. This could be better explained in the instructions. The delay info is written on the side so if you’re not careful it could be easily missed as it is obscured by the film bag that these arrive in. Otherwise they are simple to use.Held start button for 5 seconds as told, 3 green flashes, then yellow “delay†flash every 30 seconds for about 5 minutes, then single red flash every 30 indicating not recording.All 10 of these were the same, my experiment is compromised.

I put this in the refrigerator, so I can check the temperature of the food, so that I can cook my favorite food conveniently. I recommend it.
