I am a novice woodworker and found myself building my soon to be 1st Great Granddaughter some shelves.. I wanted to build them with no metal fasteners and that included the mounting mechanism… After some research I decided to try to make Keyhole Pockets for hanging on the wall and with more research (hours of Internet and YouTube) I decided to purchase the Freud 70-104: 25/64" (Dia.) Be sure to practice on some scrap wood first but this bit makes perfect keyhole slots for flush-mounting. The bit seems solid and should last for years.

Great product. I wish they made it in 1/2" shank so that i didn't have to change my collet all the time. Also the bit does tend to make a lot of noise, but i think that has more to do with the nature of the cut you're trying to achieve not a reflection of the design quality. Overall it makes very clean keyhole that look amazing. Money well spent.

Freud bits are more expensive than big box stores brands (but Freud can be found there at most as well). Longevity is great and they cut very well in a router whether it be hard or soft wood.

Excelente fresa, corta perfecto por el doble filo, eso si, recomendación, perfores despacio, que ésta brocas tiene a romperse si uno se quiere apresurar, se forzan fácilmente.hay que darle su tiempo de corte y respetar las revoluciones que indican. Una vez cumplido esto, se tiene una excelente broca que no se consigue fácilmente fuera de amazon.
