Learning how to use these was a definite learning curve, but it was definitely fun. I picked up a carving tool and had to figure out how to carve using the negative space, reversing things, etc. These stamp pads were easy enough to learn on and I was able to make some fun little mushroom stamps to start with. It came with plenty of peices, and each is a good size. They carve smoothly, allow for sharp details, and stamp nicely.

The value on these was great in terms of the quantity for the price. I used them with middle schoolers grades 6-8. These are very hard and seem almost dried out. The blocks were not ideal for students because of the pressure needed to cut them, even as an adult I found the consistency hard to work with.
