I had bought a thicker foam originally, but it was too thick to cover the seats for my pub table chairs. This high density foam was the perfect thickness and is very comfortable with the seats at the right height.

I needed the cushions to come the exact size that was listed, however, the cushions did not. They were Jagged cuts and the sides weren't straight. After I trimmed the cuts to make straight lines the cushions were too small for the chairs. Total waste of money. Would have been great cushions as after they sat out of the vacuum seal for a couple of days they fully inflated again. Will not ever buy these again, don't waste your money.

I used these to upholster my kitchen stools, they were very easy to mold and form for our chairs. They look like new and are much more comfortable to sit on.

I have made many seat cushions for outdoor furniture (these require special foam rated for outdoor.) I am now making seat pads for our dining room chairs. I think these are the perfect size -depth and resistance- for my purposes. Surprisingly, there was no odor or out gassing once I opened the packaging. The foam was white indicating to me that this was new material and had not been exposed to air for very long (otherwise they would have a yellowish tint.)WORD OF ADVICE: The foam comes vacuum shrink wrapped and doubles in size once opened. Unless you have a lot of room in your workspace, I suggest you do not open until you are ready to use!

Not all the cushions were 2 inches some are half as thick as the rest of the cushions. I got these cushions to replace the ones my puppy chewed up so it did the job I needed for but due to the thickness of some the cushions I'm gonna have to buy enough to cover the rest of what I wasn't able to cover.
