The Surface Element includes 8" Surface Burner Element and has 4 turns and has approximate size 10 X 8 inches. Please be aware that it is recommended to use saftey equipment and to disconnect the appliance from all utilities prior to any service or repair. I'm not sure if my stove-top burner overheated, but I didn't drop anything on it. After cooking something on it, I noticed that the coil had actually broken in two. I looked at one store and they had a set of 4 replacement coils (2 large, 2 small) for about $35. I just needed the one coil, and coils do come in different numbers of coils per burner (4, 5 maybe even 6 coils) so pay attention. But, then I saw this 8" burner for about $15 and it looked like my original coil that broke. Ordered, it arrived and I slipped the new coil into it's slot, and turned on the burner. It started to heat up. I've cooked on it a couple of times, with no problems. *Oh yeah, even though this coil says "Frigidaire," my stove is a "Kenmore" and it fits perfectly.

It doesn't heat quite as fast as the other elements but it's still sufficient enough to work. Seems sturdy enough.

I needed to replace the heating element in a stove from an apartment rental. I was packing and unfortunately the burner turned on with my air fryer sitting on the burner and well it was a melted plastic mess. I spent hours trying to scrape the hardened plastic off the element with a pocket knife and still it would smoke and smell awful anytime the burner was on. I had nearly made it out of my year lease with no issues. Thankfully this replacement coil was available on Amazon and for a great price. $12 later and my $950 security deposit was given back. I’m so relieved and grateful.

I just received it today and happy to see that it works despite that I wasn't sure if it's the right one for my stove. I took the risk to order it because I couldn't figure out what model is my stove since it's very old.It's a good buy thanks.

Works great for my stove and once we replaced it the stove is so strong and powerful to cook comparing to other old ones,so we are happy with it overall. The only issue is the package arrived with bended wire, we worried a bit but fixed it manually and luckily it still works. For this reason I deduct one star from it.
