After getting my replacements at Lowe's for over 20 years, they no longer carried the PureSource filter I needed. I suspect the demand has fallen since the refrigerator is outlasting the expected lifetime. This replacement filter was an exact original replacement. It works great and I hope they have a good stock to last a few more years.

When first installing it jumped out and very fast, we held it tightly in as it filled and we had no more trouble. Just make sure you hold it while filling a little and push it till it clicks. Very happy, water taste great again!!!!!
