we have well water and it can be challenging to keep hot tub water clean with the basic chemicals. We have owned three hot tubs over the past 25 years and this is the first time maintenance has been a lot easier without the drastic changes in chemical balance. Using this product along with daily/weekly/monthly schedule of chemicals, filters, etc... will keep the water clear very efficiently extending the life of the tub
