Almost all older American cars use a motor similar to this one. This motor has a twin shaft setup, is 3 by 4 inches with a 5/16 shaft. The spacing on the assembly screws is the same as most motors and with longer screws, can be used for mounting, and! the unit is Much cheaper than finding an original. The motor has ball bearings, long brushes and is very well made. Trim the shaft as needed to fit your application with a 4 1/2 grinder. Do your research, Im not guaranteeing anything. It also works as a replacement for Suburban trailer furnace blower motors, which are 6 times as much as this one and this one will last 10 times longer.
