After looking at replacing a third litter box due to broken latches, I decided to just make my old one better than original. Ive used these rubber latches before, they are sturdy and will outlast hard plastic crap. So if you can use a drill and riveter (or screws) get these and fix whatever it is that you have instead of replacing with something that's going to break anyways.

These rubber latch straps would be useful on many things including off-road vehicles where you need to keep things strapped down. I got them for my powerboat. These two hold down the wooden box over the engine. They’re easy to undo, and yet, because when they’re hooked up, they’re stretched and under tension, they keep everything shipshape while underway.
