These anchors are made with thick, heavy-duty hot-dipped galvanized steel which will provide superior support and will last for many decades. they are impressive. What I don't like is that they don't include fasteners, there is no butyl strip to seal against water intrusion, and the thickness means that overlying shingles will be lifted somewhat and might allow wind-driven rain to enter the roof deck. So, I returned these and opted for the Guardian Fall Protection 00500 RIDG-1 Single D-Ring Roof Anchor which addressed the issues I had with the Frontline anchor.

This product can be used for so many different things. It’s extremely strong. I used them to secure my ladder to the house, so the ladder could not slip or fall. I’ve used them for holding tarps over the patio. You can use them to prevent falls from the roof I’d highly recommend this product, but I guarantee you you will find other uses for them. Fantastic product.

These things are very sturdy and the second you pick it up you can tell it's going to hold up under whatever conditions you put it through. The only reason I'm not giving this five stars is due to the price point. Other than that I'm pleased with my purchase
